'Remedy' EP by OLD/CHAOS

'Remedy' EP by OLD/CHAOS

We're excited to announce the release of the first EP by our synthpop alias, OLD/CHAOS, called Remedy. It includes five tracks that showcase the evolving sound and experimentation of OLD/CHAOS within the genre. Featuring songs like 'Hide and Seek' and 'Nachzehrer' this EP captures a range of emotions and stories that are close to our hearts.

'Monday Blues' opens the EP and it is a New Order inspired song that pays tribute to Ian Curtis the lead singer of their former incarnation, Joy Division.

'Hide and Seek' offers a dynamic blend of energetic beats and introspective lyrics. The song explores the concept of concealment and discovery, both metaphorically and literally. It reflects on the moments in life where we hide our true selves and the subsequent search for authenticity and connection.

'Lamentation' is a reflective instrumental track that is split into two parts, each offering a unique emotional journey. The first part is introspective, with somber melodies that evoke a sense of longing and contemplation.

'Nachzehrer' is the fourth track on Remedy, and it's a song that delves into the depths of love and loss, drawing inspiration from German folklore. The narrative follows a character who, after death, strives to return to their beloved. This haunting yet beautiful tale is set to a captivating synthpop backdrop that perfectly complements the theme.

The second part of 'Lamentation' gradually builds up, introducing a more hopeful and uplifting tone that signifies healing and acceptance. This duality within the track embodies the essence of Remedy and serves as a fitting conclusion to the EP.

We hope you enjoy Remedy as much as we enjoyed creating it. You can stream the EP on all major platforms now, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on this new chapter of our musical journey.
